SPONSOR GUIDELINES
Thank you so much for being our local representative to help
Julia promote the inspirational messages of The Lost Sisterhood
and the tenth anniversary edition of The Messengers.
How you can help:
Persuade a local bookseller to sponsor a book-signing event and
stock copies of both books.
Organize other events as you are able—such as talks or seminars
at new thought churches (Unity, Science of the Mind, etc.);
women's organizations like The Crones; metaphysical stores; and
spiritual retreat centers.
Julia is funding her book tour by giving workshops and offering
private regression sessions. We ask that you help us coordinate
a one-day regression workshop and handle scheduling of private
past-life regression sessions.
What is needed: For a workshop:
A minimum of 15 participants.
A quiet room in which participants can lie on the floor (or sit
in comfortable chairs if they are physically unable to get up
and down from the floor) during group hypnosis.
Window coverings so that the light can be regulated.
Meeting rooms in hotels, conference centers or churches are
usually suitable for a workshop. The important things are
minimal outside noise, temperature and light control, and having
carpeted floors (or floor mats if a place such as a yoga studio
is used).
For groups with more than 20 participants, a microphone sound
system is usually
necessary.
As a rule of thumb, we need about 35 square feet of room per
participant (since people will be lying down). So if there are
15 participants, the room should be about 525 sq. ft., and so
on. A bit less room per person is OK, but we don’t want a
“canned sardine” feel, as people need a comfortable space
between themselves and other participants.
For private sessions:
A hotel room is needed that would be appropriate for Julia’s
lodging as well as allowing Julia to conduct private sessions in
this room. Assistance in locating such a room is appreciated.
Private sessions are audio taped for the client. Julia brings
tapes, but always appreciates it if the client supplies their
own tape.
Fees:
Workshops: Fees for workshops vary from community to
community. We will help you determine how much to charge
participants as we discuss details.
Private sessions : $225 for a two-hour session, payable
by check, credit card (Visa and Master Card) or cash. Julia
requires a minimum of nine clients over a three to four-day
period. She can facilitate three sessions per day. When on tour,
Julia usually averages 15 sessions over a five-day period.
What you can expect:
Julia will bring her dedication and expertise to give you and
your community inspiration, therapeutic interventions, and
life-changing insights. Often her workshops result in the
creation of support groups or new spiritual communities.
Workshops can stir up long-suppressed emotions. Julia sees that
everyone in the workshop gets attention and needed support and
makes certain no one leaves the workshop space or a private
session in distress.
What you will get:
The coordinator will receive free attendance at any workshop
which he or she organizes.
You will be provided with a press kit, flyers, helpful
suggestions, moral support, and a listing on Julia’s web site.
Any questions? Ask away. You can contact me at
MahoneyPublicist@comcast.net or (970) 226-1690 with
coordination questions.
I look forward to helping you sponsor Julia to bring her
messages of growth, awareness, and empowerment to your
community. She hopes you look forward to this with as much
excitement as she does!
Sincerely,
Carol Spiciarich Mahoney, Publicist Julia Ingram’s The
